As chairman of the Oregon Judiciary Subcommittee, Representative Ron Sunseri was an articulate spokesperson against physician-assisted suicide and was responsible for leading the discussion and action to place the initiative to repeal Oregon's Physician-Assisted Suicide law on Oregon's ballot in 1997.

A native of Oregon, Representative Sunseri has been a military officer and pilot. He served in Vietnam as a military flight instructor before returning home to Gresham, Oregon. Active in residential and commercial sales for 29 years, Sunseri and his wife are partners in a custom home building business and are owners of a real estate company.

In addition, Sunseri is founder and director of American Heritage Seminars and conducts a six-hour seminar on the founding of America and the roots of our constitutional republic.
