Torr, James D., ed., Euthanasia: Opposing Viewpoints. San Diego: Greenhaven Press, Inc., 2000.

The Opposing Viewpoints Digest series explores controversial issues in a pro/con format. This book is a collection of articles by experts, policy makers, and concerned citizens from journals, speeches, testimony, and long book excerpts, all up to date and fully documented. There are brief introductions to each chapter and to each reading. Book chapters include four to six selections each on the ethics of euthanasia, whether it should be legalized, whether legalization will lead to involuntary euthanasia, and whether physicians should assist in euthanasia.
